Mind Map II

I made the first Mind Map back in November, while consuming some Jungian symbolic philosophy.  I learnt particularly about the significance of circles, squares, and the quaternity in symbolizing different parts of the human psyche and the material and spiritual worlds.  This resonated with me as an organizing principle in my work, both visually and conceptually.

After working through a more decorative phase with the Abundance series,  I have been thinking about weaving and quantum structures, and how they relate to consciousness in general.  Thus continues the Mind Map series.

The circle in Mind Map II was formed as the material wrapped around the giant chocolate egg, and traces of it remain.  They are faintly visible in these photos, but more apparent in physical presence.
